My Master Icon List
Well, I finally decided to split up my icons into separate posts, one for comics icons (this one) and one for non-comics.

My policy is always that the ones in this post are free to gank by anyone who wants one, commenting or crediting are optional (but certainly appreciated). And really, feel free to use any of them in any way you want. Textless icon you want to use as a base for something fancier? By all means. Have the means to edit animated gifs and want to tweak the timing or change a frame? Go nuts. All I ask for is basic honesty - don't take credit for the parts of it you didn't do. But you don't need to credit me for a base that you've heavily modified, either. Use your discretion, it's more an 'if anybody asks' type thing. Oh, and speaking of not taking credit, I don't have a scanner of my own so most of the comic icons come from scans posted somewhere or another. So thanks to all of you who do that. :)

From now on I'll edit this post to add icons as I make them (though I'll still post them to [info]comicbook_icons or whereever appropriate while they're 'new', or separately in my journal if I'm particularly proud of them)

Potential spoilers for different comics, look at your own risk.


This includes all my comic icons (save those done privately for me or other people) so some are early attempts and awful. Although the first collection of them is a little randomized, whenever I update the new ones will be at the end of their proper category. There may be a lot of broken image links - I suspect its because imageshack doesn't like so many images loading at once. I'll probably split this up into more posts soon, but until then, I find reloading the page usually gets the broken ones to appear.

Yes, yes he is. No, I don't know why either, I just found the panels on [info]scans_daily. I can only assume that he was trying to get out from behind Batman's shadow and spent some time as an apprentice of Crazy Cat Lady from the Simpsons.

Oooo, this is so awesome. I just wanted to say that you are really good at making these and that I'm taken some (giving credit too cause even though it's free, I still feel this is the right thing to do...and I wanna see if I'm doing it right. It's my first time trying to take some icons and trying to write who made them...>_> )

Btw, do I post the credits on comments or somewhere else?

I like to keep my level of communities small, so I'm not really that interested in joining another one, but you're welcome to repost any icons you want elsewhere (so long as you don't take credit for them of course. ;))

Not sure which Squirrel Girl icon you're talking about, since there are several, although the truth is, I only have one comic with Squirrel Girl in it, Cable & Deadpool #30. That's the source for the 'shut your evil pie hole' one. The ones where she says she has squirrel powers and nuts, and 'everybody scamper' are from an issue of "The Thing" I believe, but I don't know which one as I didn't scan it. The 'My lips taste like hazelnut' one I believe comes from one of Marvel's Romance event, I Heart Marvel, the one where she tries to get a date with Speedball.

I thought this comment sounded familiar... you asked me something similar a year ago (almost to the day).

My answer's pretty much the same, too - I'm not really interested in joining another community at the moment, but my icons are free to post so long as you're not taking credit for them yourself, and so you could post what you wanted, or if you wanted them in bulk, I could join temporarily long enough to post them with the caveat that I wouldn't stick around.

Although taking a quick glance at the com, it seems more of a art-post community, rather than an icon one, *shrug*

Also, if you haven't found them yet, http://www.runawaysthecomic.com/ljicons.htm has a few icons too, they're a bit older (since the site hasn't been updated in a while), but they're a large part of what inspired me to start doing my own icons, so I figured I'd point them out too.
